Manta Ray Bay – Fine art print

Sail away and dive in…

We were lucky enough to dive and cruise around the Whitsundays on a friend’s yacht. We moored up overnight and awoke to splashing very close to the boat. I was astonished to see a manta ray playing in the morning sun. Of course, we were in Manta Ray Bay! We later visited the butterflies (and there were hundreds) in Butterfly bay before having a break at Luncheon Bay, gotta love the Aussies….

Open edition print.

Deep Impressions Underwater Art

Our inspiration for this Australian underwater artwork:

Kim –  ‘Whilst cruising through the Whitsunday Islands in Australia on a friend’s yacht, we moored up overnight. We awoke to the sound of manta rays splashing on the surface, in the aptly named Manta Ray Bay.

Creating ‘Manta Ray Bay’ took many weeks to complete as there is so much detail throughout the painting. I couldn’t exclude any of the beautiful fish we found there. A stunning part of the Great Barrier Reef.’
